Great turnout today for Holiday Ride.

Elites will roll Saturday at 8:30 from the church on the right just past River Drifters and roll out Mullins Cove to Goat’s Bridge (mile 19.1) turn around and return. Right at 40 miles

Sat. 6/29

A few of the elite Elites will be out of town Saturday. That said, TB’s route is very doable, but if you want something shorter here’s a 40 miler that starts with TB, but then climbs Sand via the goat path, back down, and then across the bridge to South Pittsburgh and back. See map. Have fun.

Sat. 6/22

Roll with TB at 8:00am for the Ringgold/Red Clay Loop. A shorter version of TB ride. 36 miles. See map for details.

Sat. 6/15

Elites will roll with TB at 8:30 and stay with them until the end of Murphy Hollow where we’ll turn left. From there right on Slygo to the Hang Gliderport and back Creek Rd. Can call it quits when we roll by Food City (36 miles) or continue south through St. Elmo and back on Burnt Mill for 46 miles. See map

Sat. 6/8

Elites will Roll with TB at 8:30 (see their post for the start line), and do a slightly shorter version, 50 miles. We’ll cut off the loop on top of the mountain after the Hotwater climb and a few extra miles towards the end. See map for details.

Sat. 6/1

Roll from Steady’s Campground at 8:30 with TB. We’ll hang with them until the end of Marble Top (mile 19.3) where they will turn right and we’ll continue straight to short cut their route. Check out the map. 46.5 miles and 2,900 ft.

TB and Elites Saturday 5/11

Fly and Man in Black have put together a route from the “good ole days” when MiB was new to Chattanooga back in the 90s. It’s 67.5 miles starting from the Battlefield with some nice roads south of Lafayette that Bubba doesn’t get to very often. Refuel stop options are Catlett Groc on Round Pond (19.7), Lucky Groc on 136 (25.3), and Uncle Jed’s at 193/Chamberlain (46.1).

The Elite route splits off at 22.8 miles where the longer route goes south on Cook Rd and stays on Round Pond into Lafayette. Jog through Lafayette to pass the Circle K for a store stop option at 28 miles in addition to the earlier one above at Catlett Groc. 48 miles total.

When: 8:30
Where: Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center
