Sat. 9/9

Elites will mirror TB with a few options. Roll from Mike’s at 8:30, over the toe, out 299 to Murphy Hollow. Here we’ll split and head down the mtn., right on Slygo, up and over the ridge at New England, and back Creek Rd. 47 miles at 2,000 ft. 

 

Option 1 – start at St. Elmo Food City at 8:45 and ride easy until TB overtakes. Shortens route by about 10 miles.

 

Option 2 – start in Tiftonia at the John A Patten Park at 9:00 and cruise until overtaken. Shortens by about 16 miles

Sat. 9/2 – Mon. 9/4

Option 1 – Roll with TB at 8:30AM from Walker Co. Civic Center 10052 US Hwy 27 Rock Spring, GA 30739 for a shortened version of the Trion  my Patience Ride. 42.5 miles. See map below.

Option 2 – King’s on a short leash. Roll from Little White Church in Sequatchie Valley at 8AM EDT for roughly 2 hours of valley riding with the man, the myth, the legend, King!

Option 1 – Savannah Adams Charity Ride as she recovers from being hit by a car in the state championship time trial will be this week’s Team Bubba and Elite ride. Option 2 – Roll from Little White Church in Sequatchie Valley at 9am EDT for ride to Pikeville and back (clockwise route). Easy might try to drag you up the mountain on the return route, but don’t fall for such foolishness. 50 miles

Sat. 8/19

Option 1 – Guild Gravel. Roll from St. Elmo Food City at 9:00 am for gravel ride that includes both Upper and Lower Truck along with climb up the mountain (trees have been cleared on Upper Truck). We’ll bypass Old Wauhatchie at the end as there is a tree blocking the road.

Option 3 – From Larry & Deano, Saturday ride from the Battlefield at 9:00 for 3+ hours. Park in the lot on the northeast corner of the traffic light,
diagonally across from the visitor’s center.

Sat 8/12

Option 1 – Roll from St Elmo Food City at 8:30 for a Blankenship favorite (the King will be leading the charge). South through Kensington, over to Layfayette. Back through Rock Spring, Chickamauga, etc. 64 miles. See map below.

Option 2 – for those that would like to do the Stagecoach climb and ride up on Monteagle Mtn. with TB, here’s a shortened version that starts and ends in Kimball. Roll at 9:30 EDT which is the anticipated time that TB will roll by. 36 miles. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43967341

Roll from Soddy Ball Fields at 8:30 for a ride north to Cranmore Cove. One option includes a climb up Brayton Mtn, down 30 with a right turn onto Cranmore Cove Rd. 60 miles. The other option heads north to Dayton on Old Graysville Rd, short climb up hwy 30 to the left turn on Cranmore Cove. 41 miles click red button for map. Same route return to Soddy. Official Elite Ride – Rolls from Patton Park on Kelly’s Ferry Rd. in Tiftonia at 8:30 for 46 mile ride down Creek Rd towards Rising Fawn. Turn north at Byrds Chapel, short climb up 136 and back via Slygo and 299. Map below.
