Elites to roll at 9am from St. Elmo Food City and join Barry Allen and his crew for a ride down to Mtn Cove and back. Option 2 is to start with them and then cut off with Larrry English near Chickamauga to do a shorter loop Eastward. 2.75 hour roll time.
Sat. 10/5 Cycle Sequatchie
Official Elite ride is the Cycle Sequatchie event. Lots of options but know for a fact a bunch of folks are opting for the 40 and 60 mile mixed surface options. Online registration has closed but you can register at Owen Cycle Thursday afternoon from 3 – 6pm. Also onsite beginning at 6am CDT. All routes roll at 7:30am CDT. Weather permitting, Elites will roll with TB at 9am from Soddy Ball Fields. Climb Retro Hughes, but will head down the mountain via Brayton Mtn Rd. into Graysville. See map for turns. 46.5 miles.
Sat. 9/21
Elites will tackle TB’s problem from another direction. Roll from Steady’s Campground at 9, head over the toe, out Creek Rd. over to Murphy Hollow, and return via the Stair Steps. Who knows, we might blend in with TB on the Stair Steps.
Sat. 9/7
To avoid confusion and competition, Elites will roll from St. Elmo Food City at 9am, head south through the Battlefield, and meander through North Georgia. You’ll need the map to not miss some of the turns.

Sat. 8/24
Elites will have 2 options Saturday. The first is to ride with TB. This is a very doable and great route. The 2nd is to roll at 9am EDT from the Little White Church in Sequatchie Valley and roll up to Pikeville and back. 50 miles, and Goat, we will be doing this route counterclockwise which brings us by the Cookie Jar Cafe. Elites have 2 options Sat. First is to depart with TB at 8:30 and ride with them until mile 19.2 when we’ll head over to Rock Spring and pick up the TB route again at what will be their mile 28.8. Ride their route and then take another short cut at what will be their mile 34.7…. Oh to heck with it. Sat. 8/10 Ride & Lake Party
Elites, will roll with TB at 9 am and ride the same route until we get to Retro Hughes where we’ll take a left and descend that way. 42.7 miles. It will probably put us back before TB by about 30-40 minutes depending on any unplanned stops.

Elites will beat the heat with a 40 miler and no climb. Roll with TB at 8:30, but when we get to the Hang Glider port on Creek road we’ll take a right on New England. Return via Slygo, Wauhatchie, etc. See map for details.
