Option 1 – Roll with TB from Mike’s a 9am and at the top of 136 turn right and return dropping off the mountain at Nick-a-Jack and return via the Fish Hook and swing by Bub’s house. 55 miles. Elites will have 2 options Saturday. Option 1 is to chase TB (see Boss’s post) but turn left on Captain’s Rd as you’re headed to the cove. Options 2 is to roll from downtown YMCA at 9:30 for a gravel ride on Guild, Upper Truck (to state line), back up the mountain and then down to Reflection Riding to do Lower Truck. 36 miles.

TAKE IT EASY ON THE DESCENTS PARTICULARLY LEE STATION SINCE THERE IS NO CENTER LINE AND FOLKS MAY BE CLIMBING WHILE WE ARE COMING DOWN.

Elites will roll with TB at 8am from St. Elmo Food City but once over the toe will split and run their route in reverse. Creek Rd down to hang gliding airport and over the ridge at New England to Slygo, Murphy Hollow and back via the stair steps. If you really want you can climb Raccoon when you pass by, but that’s not how it’s mapped. 46 miles and 2,800 feet.

Elites will start with TB from Food City in St. Elmo at 8am and chase them out to Haletown where they will turn left and we’ll turn right and return via the stair steps. Only 40 miles but if you want to you can add either the Raccoon climb or Lookout Mtn at the end to sufficiently kill yourself. Boss, don’t feel obligated to wait on Elites at the top of that hill…..

Elites will chase TB tomorrow. Same route except no Shellmound loop. Depart from Mike’s Hole in the Wall at 8:30. Brings it down to 56 miles.
Sat. 6/25
Elites will play rabbit to TB by doing a shortened version of their route. Roll from the Soddy Ball Fields at 8:30 and climb up Retro Hughes, back down Leggett, and back via Stormer. 40 mies and if you need to add miles climb Hotwater at the end.
B1I – E-Lite Invitational ******UPDATE******
Elites will roll with TB from the Bub One! Chicken Ranch (1546 Burnt Mill Rd. Flintstone GA 30725) at 8:30 for the Bub One! Invitational. Similar route as TB until around Lafayette where we’ll take a shorter way back. 50 miles and 2,860’
Stick around post-ride to eat some big ole pork butts smoked by Slick and Cowboy! Remember this is a fundraiser to help Bub One! since he is out of work because of the crash so eat/donate/drink/and donate some more! BYOB. Swimming hole will be open as well, but suits are required.
